Pinch Rolls in FT-9 + Mild Steel has proven itself a success internationally. FT-9 has a uniform distribution of fine vanadium carbide. FT-9 has no porosities and provides high toughness and wear resistance. For steel mills, it is easier to regrind. With higher wear resistance than commercial high speed steel, FT-9 is used in Pinch rolls, Looper rolls and other wear parts.
